NaNoWriMo 2009
Currently working on: Preparing Thanksgiving dinner
Feeling: Fantastic! Eldest son is home for the weekend, and it's a gorgeous, sunny fall day outside - perfect for our annual family hike.
In other news, it's that time of year again. Not Thanksgiving, but NaNo. Well, technically it's not time to write yet, but it is time to get ready for it. Anyone else out there taking the plunge? This will be my third year. In 2007, I managed to write over 50,000 words in 30 days. In 2008, I came close (just over 42,000 words), but a combination of a late start and life-in-general prevented me from making it to 50,000. Still a win, though, all things considered. This year, I am confident that I shall conquer the NaNo challenge.
If you'd like to follow my progress, I'm crosbiejacq over there. And if you want to attempt it too, please join - and add me as a buddy (just leave a comment here so I know who you are). It's "thirty days and nights of literary abandon!" :)
